My first #heatrun shot
April 9, 2020
firstly, THANK YOU, EVERYONE, without you all I'd be .... still dreaming of my dreams
#flashback
This I believe was my second #heatrun ever, my first real season but my first that I got to take photos (cause I still had battery life 😊) ... Yes when I saw my very first heatrun, my battery was dead ... never again ... but I got to enjoy it completely #instantlyfellinlove . It wasn’t a huge pod just about 8 but it was magic and so exciting watching these #oceangladiators hug the shallows of Hunga. The light was like I’d never experienced before for a heatrun. And of course I was still finding my way. As I reabsorb & revisit the memories that this photo conjures back to the surface it’s just so surreal the vivid slideshow of ALL that I’ve experienced and seen since then that flashes through my mind. Not only with the whales but with all the ocean, with you all and with life - I could stare immersed all day, daydreaming all week. I’m completely grateful for this time, this opportunity, to remember, to be reimmersed, to relive, to reconnect, to recognise, to reprioritise, to rethink and reFEEL all the sparks and sensations that ignited my passion … passions and regain the appreciation for the people who supported me to rebuild.
This photo I have actually printed once, and it hangs in my sister’s home which makes me so chuffed. I did give it to her BUT she has actually hung it up. It gives me butterflies each time I’m there and see it.
